In Ballyclare Primary School our Learning Support Team is led by Mrs Kennedy and Mrs Stewart. With the help of the wider staff team, including a number of Learning Support Assistants, they support children who may require additional help with their learning. Mrs McDowell is also part of this team and works with pupils who are newcomers to English to provide phonics, reading and pastoral support. 

Our Learning Support Team also liaise with a range of external agencies as necessary to ensure support for pupils and parents as necessary. 

Should you wish to speak to our Learning Support Team about any concerns or information you may have about your child, please contact the school office. Mrs Kennedy and Mrs Stewart are also available to speak with parents each morning in the playground before school from 8:45 - 9:00 am. They will be pleased to help you with any queries or pass on any information you may have to class teachers.
