Good progress for P6-7 football team

1st Mar 2019

On Friday 1st March the P6 & P7 football team had their second league blitz day of the season at Allan Park, Antrim. The boys played really well and once again there was plenty of good football on display from this exciting and talented group of players.  The team played very well and worked hard in all three of their matches.  The boys in red won one, drew one and lost one.  A mixed bag of results which takes our tally for the season to a very commendable 13pts.  Good work boys!

Ballyclare P.S. v Fairview           1-1

Jayden C. scored a well worked goal in this game which BPS dominated from start to finish.  Unfortunately Fairview took their chance well and snatched a draw from a corner.  Reece D. was the man of the match with his superb running and tackling on display in midfield.

Ballyclare P.S. v Templepatrick   0-1

A great game of football which Templepatrick controlled for large periods.  BPS thought they had done enough for a hard fought draw with some great defending and lots of super goalkeeping from man of the match Connor Coombs, but unfortunately Templepatrick snatched a late winner to deny BPS a point.

Ballyclare P.S. v Loanends P.S.   1-0

A super strike from from Freddie H.,who was also man of the match with an energetic performance up front, settled this match which BPS controlled throughout. It would have been more if it hadn’t been for a great display from the Loanends goalkeeper.
