P6/7 Football Team continue good run

13th Mar 2020

On Friday 13th March the P6 & P7 football team had their third league blitz day of the season at Allen Park, Antrim. The team played well once again and there was plenty of great football on display!  It was a mixed bag of results, with a win, draw and loss, but everyone had a great afternoon and the team are still aiming to defend their league title.  Well done everyone!

Results:

Ballyclare P.S. v Fairview P.S.   0-0

The top two teams this year went head to head and, despite chances for both teams, the game ended in a scoreless draw.  A great effort in this game from defenders Jayden and Harley who were ‘men of the match’ in this game.

Ballyclare P.S. v Templepatrick P.S. 0-1

In another good game of football it was BPS who had their chances to win this match but it wasn’t their afternoon in front of goal and we got caught out at the back towards the end when Templepatrick scored their winning goal from close range.  A very impressive midfield performance from substitute Harry Boyd earned him man of the match in this game.

Ballyclare P.S. v Loanends P.S. 3-0

The boys in red responded well to their first defeat of the season with a dominant performance in their final game of the afternoon.  Two goals from man if the match Lee-Andre and one from Freddie sent BPS home smiling and still in with a chance of reclaiming their league title.  Well done boys, keep believing!
